’žIn honor converse one star of the coming flower blooming throughout New York City's beautiful parks, Converse is set to release their "Botanical Garden" Pack featuring the classic Converse Pro Leather '76 tomorrow, Spring has finally sprung, and with the changing of the seasons comes a number of awesome pastel low-tops perfect to embody the warmer days ahead. In honor of the coming flower blooming throughout New York City's beautiful parks, Converse is set to release their "Botanical Garden" Pack featuring the classic Converse Pro Leather '76 tomorrow, April 7th exclusively at the Foot Locker flagship store at 34th Street and Times Square in NYC for $75 USD.
Converse continues their bringback of the iconic Pro Leather this fall with two new fashion-forward colorways in completely tonal renditions. The low-top Pro Leather is featured in Brick red and Blue Lagoon hues, each constructed in premium oiled leather with everything from the interiors to the outsoles matching their respective shades. You'll also get the added comfort of Lunarlon mens converse cushioning thanks to the drop-in insoles in each pair. The Converse Pro Leather Ox in these two tonal colorways are arriving now at select retailers worldwide.
2012 was a big year for the Converse Pro Leather , so why not present to you perhaps the most bad-arse pair we've ever come across? This original pair of converse boots Pro Leathers in Carolina Blue and White were worn and autographed by you guessed it Michael Jordan. MJ rocked the Pro Leathers during his Tar Heel years, during which he hit an NCAA Championship-winning jumper in '82; Converse teamed up with Jordan Brand for an insanely limited-edition eBay auction release of 23 pairs of the Pro Leather, but these OGs are certainly rarer than the 2012 version! Designed with the idea of customizability and collaborations in mind, the upper of the Run Star acts as a blank canvas of sorts converse star player begging to be remixed by long-time purveyors of the brand the likes of JW Anderson and Dr. Woo. Let's start with two new colorways on Kenny Anderson's first One Star signature, the CONS KA-One Vulc Ox in red/blue and navy/white. They're joined by Sea Star Mids in black or Cranberry, the latter of which is a red shade we saw on the CTS Ox a while back, also Converse Basketball just lost Dwyane Wade, but their skateboarding division won't be stopped. The Cons CTS High Digi Red features an interesting red and black pattern on the canvas uppers.It looks like a cross between an 8-bit attempt at reproducing a pearlescent surface and snakeskin. They look great with a white midsole that encases a translucent, CONS' inscribed outsole.
